Threatening dfXionstrations are being held to demand tho insertion in tho Portuguese Constitution of a recognition of tho right to strike. A TWO-CHAMBER LEGISLATURE. (Rec. August 4, 9.55 p.m.) Lisbon, August 4. Tho Assembly has adopted by a largo majority an article in the Constitution establishing a two-Chamber Legislature. Senhor Braga, tho lato Provisional Resident, and Senhor Almeida, Minister for the Interior, opposed the clause.
