* . A REORGANISATION SCHEME. By Telecraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec, August 3, 9.25 p.m.) London, August 3. Nine banks in Yorkshire have subscribed ,£2,00(1,001) to enable the Yorkshire Penny Dank to become a company by .capital instead of a company by guarantee. A second group of banks, including the Bank of England, will give individual guarantees. This step has been taken owing to flic anxiety caused by the suspension of the Wirkbcck Bank having adversely affected the Penny Bank.
