Transfers- were' granted to A. H. . M'Kay, J. Purvis, and H. Hall-Kenny , from Y.M.C.A. Senior Division to the , Second Division team. I In the Swii'ts-Porirua Sixth Division [ match, played on July 22, Swifts plajvd a , man unregistered and over age. It was , decided that the match be awarded to Porirua. i A vote of thanks was passed to Messrs. Duncan and Macintosh for lending the ; Association the sum of ,£SO, free of interest. '■ Jlr. H. N. Tlolnies stated that it was his intention to leave New Zealand shortly, and in consequence he intended to resign the chairmanship. General regret , was expressed by members present, and some complimentary remarks were passed concerning the good work that has teen done for Association football generally by Mr. Holmes. In reply, Mr.. Holmes stated that he very much regretted having to leave, for the game was at an interesting stage at the present time, and, in his opinion, it was the coming winter pastime in the Dominion.
