Sydney, August 1. | Parliament has been prorogued unlil August 23. Whatever the state of parties may be (hen, it is expected I hat Mr. Wade, leader of the Opposition, will again move his censure motion, iii order to determine the personnel of tho parties. Mr. Neilsen, Minister for Lauds, has formally resigned. It is not intended to fill the vacancy until Mr. M'Gowen's return. The two by-elections on which the future depends, will be bitterly fought. Tho leaders on both sides are preparing for an active campaign in the two electorates. Sydney, August 1. A cable message has been sent to Mr. M'Gowon informing him that he retains the State Premiership. Mr. N. Ncilsen resigns his portfolio of Lands to-day in consequence of his difference with his colleagues over tho Conversion Bill.
