Wedding at Mangatainoka. At St. Mark's Church, Mangnfainokn, on Wednesday, the marriage was celebrated of Hiss Amy May Vowell, second daughter of Mr. W. M. Vowell, of "Tokotahi," Mangatainoka, to Mr. Alfred Edward Clair Chilmnn, eldest son of tho Into Mr. Edward Chilman, Collector of Customs, Hokitika, and Miss Evelyn Vowell, sister of the bride, and Miss Olive Bicknell attended the bride as bridesmaids. Mr. George Vowell was tho best man, and Mr. Arthur Vowell groomsman. Mr. and Mrs. John O'Neill, of Ballance, were entertained at a farewell "social" by tho settlers of tho district last weak. Mrs. O'Noili received a handsome silver tea service. as a mark of their esteem, and Mr. O'Neill an illuminated address. Mrs. and Miss Vavasour left for Picton by the Aralmra on Saturday. Miss Cluiffey was a passenger by the Moana for Hobart.
