BOYS' INSTITUTE.
« A "social" for senior members wns held at the Boys' Institute last Thursday evening, under tho auspices of the "Busy Bees" and the "Independents," tho two teams organised for an nttendance T campaign for the Sunday meetings. Various games and contests were held, including a lively game of "punch ball." which was won by M'Ctirlie's team. Refreshments, provided bv Mrs. J. Sioanc, wero dispensed bv the Boys' Committee. Messrs. J. Hewitt and 11. Martin addressed the boys on the advisability of joining tho "liusv Bees" and "Independents" respectively. The basket-ball contest on Tncsday'rosulted in a game for each side. The junior division contest for attendance. etc., at (heir meetings on Friday evenings has h*d good results. The "R" and "Y" team are now leading by four points.
