COMING ELECTIONS.

PAWN ELL AND WESTERN MAORI SEATS. Keen interest is already being taken in the Western MaoTi election; six candidates having been announced. They are the sitting member (Mr. Henaro Ivaihau), ICori Toke To Ahu (a cousin), Hanui Tawhiao (brother of Mahuta), Pepeno. Eketono (who was defeated by some 500 votes at tlio last election), Rnngikatitea (who is another defeated candidate), and Dr. Pomaro Tarapepepo (son of Tupu Taingakawa). So far tlio candidates in the field for Parnell are Messrs. F. I/awry (the present member), Mr. M. J. Mack (Labour), and Mr. R. B. Moss (Opposition).
