Limited, report :-Wc held our fortnightly sale of wool, skins, hides, and tallow yesterday afternoon, when wo offered a good selection of all classes to a fair attendance of buyers. Competition was keen for all lines offered. Wool and sheepskins were in Keen demand, and prices were on a par with late rates:—Wool: Quotations-Cross-bred, 6Jd. to 7d.; lambs, 6d. to Bid.; crutchings, good, -51d. to 6Jd.; crutchings, inferior, 4d. to 5d.; black. 5Jd. to 6id.; locks, 3£d.; washed pieces, sd. Sheepskins: Fine crossbred, 7d. to 7Jd. ; crossbred, 5Jd. to 63d. i half-wools, .s}d. to 63d.; quarterwools, 4d. to 5Jd.; dead, s{d.; lambs, sd. to 6id.; pelts, ,«d.; shorts, 4Jd.; broken and damaged. 4d. to 42d.; mixed, 4Jd. to 5d.; crossbred, damp, 4s. Prices realised were fully equal to last Gale, hides showing a tendency towards higher figures. We cleared our catalogue at the range of prices given below, and results should prove very satisfactory to those who had consignments forward.
