ANNUAL MEETING. ■ Mr. W. J. A telegram was received from Mr. A in. Mnthieson, secretary, ivho is at present recovering from an operation for appendicitis at Auckland, statin? that he was progressing favourably. Speaking on tho proposal by tho Harbour Board to utilise the waterfront (now used by tho rowing clubs) for tho purpose ot connecting Jcrvois Quay Wharf with 'laranaki Street Wharf/Mr. Gaudin said that there v;m no other site on the waterfront so favourably situated for their own ; purposes as the present one.
