AUSTRALIA'S ARMY.
INEFFICIENT TRAINING. By Telegraph-Prpss Association-Conyricut Sydney, July 28. Major-General -Kirkpatrick, InspectorGeneral of the Commonwealth Military Forces, in his first annual report, declares that Australia has splendid material for an army, but the training in all branches of the service is faulty and inefficient. Tho officers havo not performed their duties satisfactorily.
The peace to war establishment, tho General declared, is too low, and should bo augmented. Ho also recommends tho obtaining of <i trained general stall to assist tho citizen officers.
