PHOTOGRAPHIC CLUB.
The prospects for the proposed new Photographic Club for Welliugton are bright, the promoters having received a vei'y encouraging response to their invitation for members. At an informal meeting held on Thursday evening it was decided to call a general meeting to establish the club, elect officers and committee, etc. Due notice of this will be giveu as soon as possible. Tho club is deserving of support by all amateur photographers, and will bo conducted solely for the furtherance of tho art, and to give assistance generally to amateurs. It is intended to hold regular meetings and practical demonstrations, and also occasional competitions aud exhibitions.
