The monthly mcetinp of tho Board of Governors of t'lio Wellington College and Girls' High School was held yesterday, there being present: The chairman (Mr. K. de 13. lirandon), Messrs. W. H. P. Barber, W. 1 ,, . Ward, Robert Lee, and A. Warburlon. . , , ~ , The financial statement showed ttiat after providing for prospective payments totalling .C7J3 17s. M.,. and taking into account prospective receipts far outstanding college fees (J51903 18s. Bd.), and rents .£l2O 2s. Id.), die balance, on paper, was JC27JO 4s. lid. Trevor Brothers, contractors for tho Girls' College building extension?, applied I'or nn extension of time, submitting that they had had great difficulty in getting labour. On the recommendation of Ihe architects, an extension of four weeks was granted.
