WAITSMATA AND GREY LYNN SEATS. ißy Teleerapli.—Press Association.! Auckland, July 27. Mr. L. E. Phillips, M.P. for Waitemata, has announced that owing to family reasons he will not seek re-election. A committee has been appointed to arrange for a meeting of Opposition,supporters for the purpose of selecting a candidate to contest the seat. Mr. W. 11. Murray, Jlayor of Grey Lynn, has been approached by a representative deputation to stand for the Grey Lynn electorate (the Hon. G. JTowlds's seat) at the forthcoming elections. Mr. Murray promised'the deputation to consider the matter.
