In commemoration of the Coronation tho Great Western Land Company lias presented to the freeholders of Elthorne Heights, Middlesex, a five-acre park for use as a recreation and pleasure ground. The land has as part of its boundary the River Brent. Tennis courts, cricket pitches, and a bowling lawn will bo provided, and shelters will be. erected. Tho privileges of the new park will be restricted to tho residents of Elthorno Heights. A well-built chimney, 100 ft. high, will sway from ISin. to 4in. in a high wind without any danger of falling.
