• Notwithstanding the bad weather, the n ellinglou produce market has beenfairlv busy this week. 'i'ho Uliiharoa brought SOO cases of fruit from .Sydney. Choicest mandarins,sold at 7s. (id. to lis. 3d. per bushel cafe; "pineapples, 4s. Gd. to'9s.' fidi; passion;- fruit, 3s. 5~. per hnlf-giii case; and lemons, 7s. Gd. to !)s. Cd. ' . The Jloana brought fruit from Hobart and Melbourne totalling -100 cas;s. Scarlet I'ermaiu apples sold yesterday at Ss. to lis.; russets, 7s. ed. to 95.; Jlildura lemons, Ds. Gd.; anil Hobart cooking pears, 7s. to 7s. Gd. New Zealand apples are quoted at ss. fid. to 9s. Pears. aro about done for the season. Hot-house tomatoes, aro coming in freely, and selling at Gd. to 3d. per lb', for first grade. . Other quotations . are:—New Zealand marmalade. oranges, 65.; Australian, is. 6d. to 55.;-tree tomatoes, ss. to Gs. per box; rhubarb, 45., to ,ss. doz.; and walnuts, 5(1. .to 6d. lb, Realisations on vegetables' were:—Cabbages, '7s. to 12s. sack; cauliflowers,. 225.; marrows, 4s; to 55.; pumpkins, ss. to Bs.'; parsnips, 4s: to Os.; beetroot, 55.; leeks, 3d. to sd. bundle; white turnips, lOd. to Is.
