M'Kenzie, Minister for Mines, made a statement oil Wednesday at Wakefield that he -was pleased to tell" his hearers that in his opiuion there would be a very important development in the mining industry not many miles from their own doors. The Minister was referring to the discovery at Waugapeka of galena reefs, which on development aro showing remarkable results. o£ which he is fully cognisant.
