NEW ZEALAND CLUB.
THE ANNUAL REPORT. The annual meeting of ,the New Zealand Club was held last evening, Mr. P. C. Freeth presiding. The annual report, which traversed in detail the results of the year's work, was adopted. A credit balance of A'lo 13s. !>d. was shown and it was slated that tho membership stood at 123. The chairman, in a few remarks, referre dto tho report as disclosing a very satisfactory year's transactions. The club had fulfilled a very useful purpose, bosides proving a happy medium of intercourse. lie also referred to the enthusiasm displayed in its interests by the lion, secretary, Mr. 11. N. Holmes. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr. P. C. Frceth; vicepresidents, the Hon. C. M. Lute, M.L.C'., Mr. A. It. Atkinson and Mr. F. M. B. Fisher, M.P.; committee, Messrs. W. Uobbs, G. A. Hurley, C. E. Wheeler, F. S. Pope, anil W. (ireig;' secretary, Mr. li. N. Holmes; treasurer, Air. R. J Webb.
Greetings were received from tho "Commonwealth Club" sit. Adelaide, which was formed as a result of tho Wellington Club.
