LODUE MEETING.
Purple Star Loyal Orange Lodge held its monthly meeting last night, when there ivas a good attendance. After tho initiation of a candidate, the officers of Lodge No. Go were received and heartily welcomed. The District Officers' reports expressed their congratulations upon the excellent parade at the recent Sunday service, and also on the successful "social'' held on 'Wednesday, and added that it was intended to have tho Jiev. Rro. Barley's address published in the official orjfjiii of the order. Report/ received from other lodges showed increased activity, and it is expected that the appointment of an organiser will be made by (he Grand Lodfrc at an early date, which will greatly assist the work of opening new lodges. Tho preliminary arrangements for tho Grand J.iulgo Session, to be held at "Palmcrston North next Easter, wero in hand.
