There was a long discussion on the clause providing for the repeal of previous Acts. An all-night sitting resulted. (Rcc. July 13, 9.30 p.m.) Sydney, July 13. In the Legislative Assembly the clause of tho Industrial Arbitration Act repealing tho previous Acts has been passed in committee. RAILWAY IMPROVEMENTS. Sydney, July 13. Mr. W. A. Holman, Accing-Stato Premier, told the Farmers' and Settlers' Conference that two millions will be spent immediately on the duplication of railway lines, also ■fiHO.OOO on increasing the accommodation in Darling Harbour and railway yards, and .£700,000 on a low-level road around the foreshores of tho harbour.
LAND TENURE BILL. Sydney, July 13. It is stated that the country members of tho Labour party, who object to Mr. Neilsen's proposed repeal of the Conversion Act, have declared a truce until the return of Mr. M'Gowen, the State Premier.
