AMERICAN GRAIN CROPS.
BADLY DAMAGED BY THE HEAT. Br TeleeraDh—Press Association—Copyriebt Washington, July 11. The Bureau of the Department of Agriculture reports that the recent heat wave played havoc with tho crops of feedstuffs. Oats are said to bo tho hardest hit. The wheat crop is about an .average, while the corn acreage is the largest recorded; but the condition is 7 per cent, below the average.
