THE STRIKES IN BRITAIN.
SCOTTISH SHIPPING HAMPERED. By Tdcirraph-Preas Assoclatioo-Copyrien; London, July 10. The seamen's strike is still causing Ri-ave interruption of shipping operations on the east coast of Scotlaud. Probably a total cessation of shipping work will result. INCREASES IN MANCHESTER. All sections of workers in Manchester who have been on strike will resume work forthwith. The seamen will receive 10s. per month increase. The carters have obtained the increases demanded, with limitation of hours.
