Mr. V. E. Meredith appeared for plaintiff, and Mr. P. W. Jackson for defendant. After hearing evidence, the magistrate reserved decision. POLICE CASES. Frank W. Burford, charged with obtaining money at Hunterville on March ID'.by means of false representation, was remanded to appear at that place on July 18. or at an earlier date if possible. . * For using threatening behaviour iu Courtenay. Place, wherpby a breach of the peace was occasioned, Joseph Kenny, and Frank Connell were fined 20s. each, in default seven days' imprisonment. Patrick Buddy, for drunkenness, was fined 20?., with the option of seven days' imprisonment.
