HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL.

The Kaitoke and Pakuratahi raadr. required metalling in places. Piledriving for the Wangaroa-Upper Hutt Bridge was commenced on July 3. The Packakariki Hill Road was in good order. The repairing of the Main Road through Taita. and the Gorges was being attended to. The. Day's Bay-Lowry Bay Road was in very fair order, though metalling was still going on. The 'Public Trust Roads at Plimmerton were now complete:!. Mr. Odlin. having agreed to contribute half the cost of surveying tho deviation (of Odlin's I'oad) on condition that the amount he would be called upen to. pay did not exceed £)">, it was decided to carry out the, work.
