AUCKLAND SENSATION. (By Telegraph—Prcte Association.* Auckland, July 10. Michael Luttier, a. resident of Onehun»a, called at the residence of.his son-in-law, W. Bcthcll, and demanded to see his daughter. Some words passed, and then Luther, it is alleged, produced a. revolver .and pointed it. at Bcthcll. The latter rushed for tho door, followed by Luther. A struggle ensued, and Bcthcll disarmed hia assailant. , . ~ , ■, The cries of females in tho house drew a, great crowd, and Hip plica appearing arrested Luthtr and took possession of the revolver, with four live cartridges, one of which bore evidence of having been struck by the hammer. Later.' In the Police Court at Onohunga Michael Luther was charged with drunk. p",nc-\s, and with nourishing a revolver, lie expressed regret, and was fined .£?
