PICTURE SHOW PANIC.
« _ A FILM CATCHES PIKE. By TelcEraDli—Press Associat/on-Copyrijht Melbourne, July 10. A fire occurred in the Picture Pavilion at Goelong last night. One of the films ignited, and an operator picked it up and dropped it in front of the maiu exit. The audienco scrambled out in a semipanic. Several persons fell into or were caught in the flames, their clothes igniting. Six persons wore- badly burnt, and were removed to the hospital. Two girls and a boy aro in a serious condition. A number of others received minor injuries. The operator's hands were badly burned through carrying the burning film.
