(Pal'mcrstou North),.report:—We held out fortnightly Ma.njraweka sale on June 5, when, owing to rough weather, only r, medium .ontry came to hand, all of which met a ready sale. Ewe lamb?, 5s to 63. Id.; mixed ago ewes in lamb, 7s. 7d.; empty ewes. ss. 3d. to Bs. 9d.; light fat ewes, to 12s. 7d.; fat ewes, to l<s. Id.; light fat heifers, to £5 75.; fat heifers, good Quality, £6 6s. to £6 12s.

Id.; 4CO empty ewes. 9s. 7d.; 743 2-tooth wethers, 2=. 6d. to 12s. 3d.; other lines, fat and forward ewes, 9s. 6d. to 10s. Sd,; store ewes, ss. 6d. to 7;.; 2-tooth ewes in lamb, lis. Bd.; lambs, 7s; 1(1. to 85. ,7d.; cull lambs, 4s. 6d.. to 55.: cull ewes. ss. 6d. to 3s. lid. A 6mall entry of cattle met with very little inouiry. Dairy cows, £7 to £8 10s.: store cows, £2 12s. 6d.; stag, £2 10s.

The Loan and. Mercantile Agency Co. report:—On Monday wo held our usual monthly sale at Himitangi. A fair entry of sheep citme forward, asd a heavy yarding of cattle was penned, consisting principally of female sorts, which sold at lato rates, practically everything . being sold. Wednesday we held a- clearing sals of dairy stock .on account of Mr. A. H. Briscoe. There was a good attendance ; of buyers, and tho cows, which were in good condition, sold well, making up to £U 55.. and the herd averaging £7 lis. 6d. .At Palmerston a fair entry of sheen and cattle came forward, and a clearance •wis effected -at lite rates.
