She was admitted to the hospital nt 10.20 p.m., amtl is reported to bo doing as well as can be eipccted. SERIOUS CITY ACCIDENT. Thof. M'Donnlrl, a single man, 2G years old, residing at 35 Bowen St.root, and employed by tU City Lighting Department, wns the victim of a serious accident ye?" terday afternoon. Ho fell to the ground from the top of a lighting pole, upon whish he had been working. Admitted to tho hospital, he was found to have broken his wrist, and it is not yet certain whether he is fullering from' concussion of the brain or has fractured his skull. . . CRUSHED AGAINST BUFFER. (By Telegraph-Press Association.) Greymouth, July 6. Albert Ellison, 10 years of ago, an apprentice at tho Despatch Foundry, was killed this morning. An electric crane crushed him against a buffer. Eye-wit-nesses say that he was warned, but did not appear to hear.
