Bγ Telceraph—Press AssocinUon-Copyrleht Sydney, July 4, The sheep snles included tho following on account of New Zealand breeders:— Border Leicesters.—On behalf of Mr. Nixon, Canterbury, twelve stud ranis, three toeix anil a half gnincas; Mr. Rennie, Canterbury, seven rams, threo to four guineas; Mr. Dowthwaite, Waimate, two rams, twenty-five and twenty guineas respectively; Mr. Anderson, Ashburton, ram, eight guineas. Romney Marsh.—Mr. Eeid, Oamara, ram, twenty guineas; Mr. Dowthwaite, Waimate, five rams, four to five guineas.
GOOD DEMAND FOR QUALITY. (Rec. July 4, 11.5 p.m.) Sydney, July i. At the sheep sales to-day tho demand for good quality was well sustained and faultics dragged. The sales included tho following ;— English Leicesters.—On account of Mr. J. Nixon, Canterbury, seven rams at 2$ to 6 guineas; seven ewes, 31 to 4 guineas. Lincolns—On account of Mr. G. T. Barriball, Auckland, two rams, at from 6 to D guineas; on account of Mr. Dowthwaite, Fordell, two rams, 5 guineas; on account of Mr. J. B. Sutton, Southland, two rams, at 17 and 13 guineas; on account Mr. S. E. Barriball, Auckland, four rams, at from 5 to 51 guineas; two ewes at from Si to 5J guineas; on account of Mr. G. Sutton, Waihi, six rams, at from 4J to 7 guineas; on account of Mr. Withcll, Canterbury, ten rams, at from 51 to 8 guineas; on account of Mr. W. Anderson, Ashburton, eight Tarns, at from 41 to 5 guineas.
Corriedales.—On account of Mr. Ensor, Rangiora, rams at 4 and 25 guineas, the latter to a New Zealand buyer; on account of Mr. Anderson, Ashburton, a ram at 5 guineas.
Border Leicesters.—On account of Mr. Nixon, Canterbury, fifteen rams, at from to 4 guineas j on account of Mr. Rcnnie, Canterbury, sixty rams, at 3J guineas, and thirty-eight cives at 2j guineas; on account of Mr. Grant, Timaru, thirtyeight rams, at 33 guineas; on account of Mr. Grant, Winchester, fifteen rams, at from 2J to 3} guineas; on account of Mr. Dowthwaito, Waimate, forty-one ram hoggets, at from 3J to 4 guineas; on account of Mr. Lockhead, Lincoln, twenty rams, at 3J guineas.
