1 " AN INDUSTRIAL UNION. ' For sonio time a section of school teachers in New South AVales have felt dissatisfied with tho working conditions imposed by the Education Department. It was expected when the Labour party obtained power that tho grievances be remedied. Although some improvements liavo been made there is sufiicient dissatisfaction even with the improved conditions for a largo number to decido to try the trade union method of organisation., It is held that tho associations ore not militant enough, and it is noticed that almost every, other class of worker, including brain j workers such as clerks, writers, artists, actors,-.and pressmen, aro organising, and registering under tho arbitration laws. A meeting of all teachers interested has been arranged to bo held at the , Sydney Trades' Hall tomorrow. •
