FACTORY GIRLS ON STRIKE

A strike occurred at Ross road Glcndining's Roslyn Woollen Mills this afternoon, some thirty girls employed in tlio worsted and spinning department ceasing work. It is stated that they objected on personal grounds to work with two other girls. Mr. filendining had a conforcnco with the strikers, but without result. lie states that ho expects tho girls will return to work to-morrow, and if tliey do not, others will be engaged in their places.
