Mr. and Mrs: W. Kebbcll (Alfredton) are visiting Wellington. Miss Lucy Mooro (Kaikoura) is a visitor to 'Wellington. Miss Jessie Cameron (Kaiwarra) has returned from a visit to tho Wairarapa. Mrs. A. Bunny. (Wsirarapa) lias come to town for the Sheffield Choir concerts. Mrs. Monckton (Otaki) is in town. Mrs. Letkbri'dgo and Mrs. H. Lethbridge (Rangitikoi) aro staying at tho Royal Oak. Mrs. M'Hardy ("Blackhead," Hawko's Bay), is in town. ■■ Mrs. Gorton (Feilding) is staying with her mother, Mrs. Edwin. Miss 'Pickering (Masterton) is a visitor to Wellington. Mrs. Hill (Feilding) is in town, and is staying at the Windsor. The Newtown Tennis Club is holding an "at homo" on tho evening of July 14. Mr. and Mrs. M. Lean (Blenheim) ore in town for tho Sheffield Choir performances, and leave again on Monday. Mrs. White, of Hawko's Bay, is a visitor to Wellington. Mr. J. H. Black, ■ accountant in tho Wellington branch: of the Mutual Lifo and Citizens' Assurance Company, who has recently been promoted to the head office stall in Sydney, was farewelled by his fellow employees of tho local staff, who also made him a presentation. Mr. and Mrs. Black leave for Sydney by tho Ulimaroa to-day.
