MORRIS-TUBE COMPETITIONS
A match of more than usual interest in (ho Juuior Morris-tube Grado was fired on Tuesday night, between the Telephone Exchange and tho Wellington Working Men's Club. Neither team had s-ulTeretl defeat, and so a keenly-contested match was expected, and such ensued. Tho Working Men's Club brought a strong team,, but ,for soiuo reason, they could not strike form, Ncven being tho best with 32, whilti Morris and Bolton each rcored 31. Pollock, for the Exchange, scored the "possible," while Cower andj'd'Lachlan got witliin one of that coveted number. Tho Exchange men (thanks to able coaching) shot consistently, and won by 38 points, thus giving them a twopoint lead for tho Junior Shield. Results :— Exchange:—H. Pollock, 35; W. Gower, ■31; J.
