Mr. Balfour, Leader of the Opposition, presided at tho Pilgrims' Club dinner in honour of Mr. John Hayes Hammond, tho United States Special Ambassador to tho Coronation. There was a great demonstration when Mr. Balfour read a Washington telegram announcing that an agreement had been arrived at between Britain e.nd America on tho unlimited Arbitration Treaty.
