HUTT TRAMWAY POLL.
o Little or no interest was taken, in the Hutt Valley Tramway Board's election for four members yesterday, this being owing probably to the weather, and that a number of electors (who were on the municipal roll and who voted at last election) had been cut off the roll. Residents are rather exercised about this, and naturally wish to know why. Mr. M'Kwan (chairman of the board) explains that the tramway roll had been compiled in February last, while the municipal roll was compiled in March. The polling was as follows-.—
