— 1 A fairly large number of people visited the Exhibition yesterday, the turnstiles recording 1815, bringing the total to dato to something' like 95,490. Yesterday's takings amounted to .£Ol 18s. 2d. Tho attraction last night at the Stadium was an exhibition of lassoing, sharpmooting, and knife-throwing by Captain M'leod. He proved himself to be very dexterous with these implements, especially with the bowie knives. One of his assistants was placed about thirty yards off, and his body was outlined with Mie knives. In the bowling match, Wellington v. Hutt, Ballinger's team (Wellington) defeated Hendry's (Hutt) by 17 to 13.- Several other games were also playtd during the day. Twenty-five entries have been received for the bowling tournament commencing on Saturday. On Friday evening, Mr. W. H. Buswell will give an exhibition with the Rontgen Rays in Mr. T. Ballinger's stall. Radiographs will be taken of any suitable objects. A number of children from the Presbyterian Orphanage visited the Exhibition during the day. The Exhibition Theatre was again well patronised last night, when the English Pierrots, with their excellent programme, tlioronghlv delighted the audience. Mr. Dalcin's sketch, "The Young Woman at Home, or The Old Man Out," was deservedly popular, as also were the various other items.
