The following notices of motion will bo considered at the meeting of the City Council to bo held at J p.m. to-morrow:-By Councillor M'Kenzie: "That the engincer bo instructed to report as to the \ cost of providing proper latrine conveniences in the city for women. Bv Councillor Barber: "That the City Engineer bo instructed to provide two additional public conveniences 111 the Newtown district." . Bv Councillor I-iUgerald: lhat the sum of £2000,: be placed on this year s estimates for the purpose of improving plant ing, and extending the lulbirmo Recrcali'Bv Barber: "That the Finance Committee be instructed to take into consideration the question of dealing in some way with the properties owned by the city fronting Adelaide Road, with the object of improving the locality. Councillor Hindmarsli to move:— That fl ll committcs' business be transacted In three committees ol five members each, the Mayor to be ex officio a member ot them, and that all such committees meet at 7.30 p.m. .011 the same night. At to-morrow afternoon s meeting of tho | City Council the resolution'passed by the couueii on May 18. adopting the Wellington City By-law, No. 0 (Abattoirs), 1911. will come up for confirmation.
