LACONIC CABLEGRAMS.
The cablegrams that have passed between I)r. Dixon, of Chicago, tho new pastor, and the Metropolitan Tabcruaclo were read at both services on Sunday, April 30. The first message from Dr. Dixon contained these words: "Yes, June, Dixon." To this tho church replied by cable: "Wo praise God. Tnbernnclo Church'." On Saturday, April 29, a second Income message- reached London from Dr. Dixon: "Will begin June 18." Holding up the bundle of cablegrams after reading tliein to (lie large congregation at the. Tabernacle on Sunday night, the deacons' secretory exclaimed: "Hero you have God's goodness up to date."
