In connection with the scameifs strike, there was a serious occurrence at Hull.

As the steamer Ladybrook was leaving Hull, the crew, after a heated argument with tho strikers' pickets, fired six shots into the crowd, injuring ono of tho pickets, it is feared fatally. Efforts aro being rondo to stop tho Ladybrook before sho leaves tho number.
