STORRIE PATENT MILKING MACHINE.
The "Storrie" is one of the. remarkably few .milking machines which dairy farmers are not asked to take oil trust. The manufacturers absolutely guarantee .that this wonderful invention will.do all that ■is. claimed for it-uuder proper .conditions, and in addition they guarantee to .keep the. pulsator . (.tbo only part,, excepting rubber anil brushes, which is subject: to wear) in order for three years.. "\\*ith such a liberal guarantee as this ntihe ba'ck.'of it, it is', not to bo wondered .'at that', tho exhibit of the.-o milkers made at. the I'almcrston Winter. Show is attracting the attention of crowds of visitors. A most important feature .is the "Storric" patent • pulsator and .combined motor. It has but one adjustable part, and that is for regulating, the' pulsations on the teat. Should tho dairy farmer so prefer it, the milking can he done with the pulsator detached from the can and hung. in any convenient 'place. There is no overhead gear, and nothing could lie simpler than tho patent vacuum tap and hanging pulsator. But the most valuable feature of the "Storrie" pulsator is that it is quits' impossible for any milk to reach it—it has but one function and it performs it perfectly. This device has completely overcome; an imperfection which' has'previously done incalculable harm to milking machines. The "Storric" teat cup and inflation are also worthy of special mention. The nicest 'compliment which can be paid to the teat, cups is that'in many instances they have been fitted' to other machines which had been previously installed in.milking sheds; Nothing more need be said, on 'this' point. The inflation is made'from the highest grade ' "I'ara Para" rubber, and is reversible, easily cleaned, and - cheaply replaced. Numbers of unsolicited testimonials have been received from grateful dairymen who have, installed '"Storrie" machines. Mr. 11. C. Wallace, Hamilton, says: "I .am perfectly satisfied, after having worked them for six months. I have worked .'another make f<>r three seasons, but prefer the 'Storrie' every time. They milk well, never get out of 1 order, and : cost practically nothing for "upkeep." Mr.- Frank Day, also of Hamilton, says tho Storrie is "a good milker, easy to keep clean, and tho upkeep very small. I have , not had to outlay anything since I bought it." Tho manufacturers, Alex. Storrie, Ltd.,. Invercargill. Dunedin, and Wellington, will be pleased to supply full particulars regarding the installation, of either single or double milkers.'
