(From Our Special Correspondents.) Otaki, June 21.—P.ain fell last niffht, and continued at intervals throughout tho day; showers at times very heavy; weather warmer. Shannon, June 21.—P.ain began to fall hero on Tuesday evening, nnd continued all night- Wednesday was dull and showery. Masterton. June 21.—The Rev. A. Hodge reported at six o'clock to-night for the previous twenty-four hours as follows:— Shade temperature, maximum (2.2>10g.. minimum 50deg., mean 56.1deg.; earth radiation, <4.5dcg.; wind, fresh N.AV.; rain. 26 points: weather, heavy showers, lightning and thunder. Hastings, Jnne 21.—T0-day the weather has been mild, with a few showers at intervals. Woodville, June 21.—Heavy rain during the night, and early morning; again fine, but indications of rain. Groytown. June 21.—1t rained very heavily last night: wind, N.W.; rain very light t&day; indications of clearing; thermometer at 9 a.m.) 41
