Masterman, M.P for West Ham and Under-Secretary foi the Home Department, has been declared void on account of his agent's illega; practices, though the judges declared thai lie was not at fault. Both the •judges, paid a high tribute tc Mr. Masterman, who, it is understood retains his Under-Secretaryship. Anothei seat will be found for him at the earlicsl possible occasion.
