Ne«: Zealand fruit, but showing through open bars of the lid were seen articles or. clothing, in consequence of which proceedings wero instituted. ~,,,, Mr. Hogan, M.P., is advised that the Minister for Education is making arrangements to finance the new Wanganui Technical . College, for which £5000 is available. The Minister for Public Works has informed Mr. Hogan that .£3OOO will be expended this year on the Parapara Road, and that another .£IOOO will be authorised to carry tho work.on. Tho Minister says • he is somewhat disappointed with the progress of the road, due to shortage of labour, from which many other road works are also suffering, but, nevertheless, he intends to keep the work at Parapara going continuously. He also 1 gave favourable replies regarding work 1 on other roads in this district.
