WAIHI GRAND JUNCTION GOLD. Tho Teport of the Waihi Grand Junotlon Gold Company, Ltd.. for 1910, during tho year 84,226 tons of ore of Mb. wero rallied and treated, yielding , bullion to tho value of £133,316, Irom wine) to be deducted tho New and oxpenses of realisation, £5434, leaviue i 127,880. Sundi-y receipts amounwd to JE2203, making tho total rovonuo £130,083. 'Iho working costs, including the sum of £16,645, charged to mines development redsmption, together with administration ana other expenditure in New Zealand ana London, amounted to £84,810, showing a gross profit of £<'5,273, from which, after deducting £14,626 written oil for depreciation of plant, machinery, and buildings, a net proht of £30,646 remains to tho credit of profit and loss account. The adverse balance of £4272, brought forward from tho previous year, reduces the available balance to £26,374, out of which the directors recommend a dividend of 5 per cent., free of income tax, leaving £7155 to bo carried forward. At tho end of 1909 tho fully developed ore amounted to 26.160 .tons, and 65,CC0 tons wero calculated .as probably existing, together amounting to 91,150 tons. After the extraction of 84,22b tons of ore sent to mill, there remained at December 31 last' abovo No. 5 level 132.900 tons fully developed, and probable ore 30,IKJO tons, a total of 162,9C0 tons, showing tho satisfactory increaso of 71,750 tons. Sinco tho end of the year the further development of tho Mary lodo on Nos. 3 and 4 levels has opened-up largo bodies of payable ore, and what appears to bo a new lode, called tho "Grace" lode, has been discovered 16ft. to the south of tho Martha lode, No. 5 level, at a point 82Cft. east of tho main crosscut, which proved at point of intersection to bo 36ft. wide, 12ft. on tho footwall being worth £1 13s. 9d., tho remainder low grade. When last reported on by cable, driving to tho eaGt for 97ft. and west 66ft,. on tho courvo of tho lodo had disclosed continuance of tho payable ore. Tho sinking of No. 1 shaft, which had to be discontinued on account of shortage of power for pumping, owing to tho accident to of tho turbo-genvators, has been resumed. If no unforsoen obstacle occurs, it is expected that the opening of No. 6 level will bo commenced in tho course of the next fow months. The sinking of a new working shaft has also been commenced. at a point about IOCOft. cart of No. 1 shaft. EOYAL EXCHANGE ASSURANCE. NEW ZEALAND EXPORTS. . Tho values of'the prlnoipal Now Zealand products exported during the first half of the current month, as compared with the figures for the corresponding period of last year, show as under:—

The general managor of tho National Bank of New Zealand, Ltd., has received a cable message from his London board advising tho declaration of a dividend of 6 pct cent for tho half-year, and bonus to shareholders of 1 per ccnt. on paid-up capital (£500,000), equaling 13 per cent, in all for tho year ended March 31 last. Tho sum of £20,000 has been added to tho reservo fund, which will then stand at £480,000, and £20,C00 carried forward.
