Yesterday we published a list of tho fw.st contributions (o hand; to-day wo are pleased to add a supplementary list. The idea is not to ask for largo amounts—although such are, of course, welcome—but to excite t-ynipathy and sup. port for the movement amongst; as wido a number of tho public as possible. Minepence gives a day's holiday in the country to a little Londoner'who probably has- never been away from the pavements and the bustle of street traflic in his life-lie is transported (o a wonderland "I wide green fields; cool fresh woods; a and of birds and animals unknown to mm and he is right royally fed and eared lor. It is a day of days for him. As explained before a certain number of chiWren m poor-health are given a fortnight s holiday at the seaside, the cost of this being 10s. oach-a wonderful health-giving experience for these litllo boys and girls, a fairy godmother's gift.
