Both men were \ removed to the hospital. Harrison is stiller: ng from a broken • leg and severe internal injuries. Lynch 5 wr,s badly cut about, but in his case 1 serious results are not anticipated. FATALITY ON MINING CLAIM. Hckitika, Juno 15. A miner named Charles Heil was killed at (ho Wheel of Fortune claim, Stafford, . this afternoon. The fatality wos caused by an elevator-bucket falling on him < while ho was working iu a well-hole. j Death was instantaneous. Tho deceased 3 was a married man. his wife and two cliili dren residing at Stafford. I TRAP AND MOTOR-CAR COLLIDE. Tirnaru, Juno 15. An unlightcd trap met a motor-car on ' tho road near the Levels Station to-night. • The car thrust the horse into a fence and ' killed it. The cart was smashed, and the ' car very much damaged. Mr. C. Gosling, I in the cart, escaped apparently unhurt. ■ Two men were in tho car, Messrs. E. Reid I and J. Shallcrass (of Guinness and L-e ■ Creu's). Tho former, who was _ driving, ' had his arm broken, and was seriously in- • jiircd internally. The latter received some I cuts and was badly shaken.
