ANOTHER CENSUS.
NEXT MONTH. TO ENROL THE ELECTORS. Acting under the Legislature Amendment Act, which was passed Inst year, the Government has decided to take an electoral census throughout tho Dominion early nest month, for (he purpose of onrolling electors and correcting ami purging the existing rolls. This census will be taken in the cities and tho electorates adjoining the cities on July 9, and in tho country electorates on July 10. It is obvious that this census must be. taken on tho present electoral boundaries. Its purpose, as officially staled, i 3 that everything may bo in readiness to proceed with the compilation and printing of tho rolls for the new districts as soon as the representative commissioners present their final report'. In Wellington, Auckland, Christ, church] and Huncdin, a householder's schedule will bo left' at each household by an enrolment officer, and tho occupier or person in charge will be requested to fill it in on the dato specified, with the names of all persons of the age of 21 years or upwards residing there.
