INTERESTING FIGURES. A number of interesting tables have hten compiled by Mr. T. C. Brash, actingsecretary of tho National Dairy Association. Between August 11 and May 3 (here were twenty-tiight shipments of dairy produce from Nc-vr Zealand to London, and between October 22 and April 30 eight, to Avonmoutli, on tho west coast of England. Of - tho twenty-eight vessels to London, the length of the passaga of twenty-two of them is given. Tho shortest was lIS days by the Kia Ora and ■ the Taimii. The trip was done in SSi.days by the Tainui and tho Pakcha. The greatest number of dsjs occupied in the voyage was 49, by tha Delphic. Tito Tokomaru took (iays. The' averasK time of ft:*.: twent>tw'o vessels works out at about 4U days. Tho average time taken by the steamers lor tho west of England v,t:s nJA days, .reckoning on the figures given. The Sussex'did the trip in dSidays. Tho London prices for butter range from lOfs. to Ills., and the West Coast prices from lliiis. to 110s. White cheese in ixmri<m ranged from 565. to (135., and coloured from 575. to f>3>. The cheese figures for ths West Coast lots are given as from Ks.. to 635. for white, and 575. to Eis. for coloured: it was thv Alheiiie's shipment of butter which arrived in London on October 1G that averaged Ills. That shipment consisted of 23,070 boxes of butter. Tile Tainuin shipment is- averaged at Kills. She arrived on February 0,- and had n board ' 59,732 boxes of bul tor. Tho Jdamari's shipment cf'chceso is-credited with the highest 'London price—63s. She arrived in London on April 15, with 7501 crates, of cliecre, 4520 crates ol which she landed at Bluff, 11(12 at Dunedin, 300 at Is'ew Plvmouth, 1070. at Auckland, and 410 at Timaru. . . Of the- West of England shipments, the I'ifeshire's," which left Wellington on November 25 and arrived at Avonmorith on January 15, averaged'llos. tor "butter, 50s. foi: white cheese, and 575. Gd. for coloured cheese. The vessel carried 2-18 boxes of butter, and 2(02 crates ol cheese. Tho Sussex shipment, Which left Wellington on' February 23,' and reached Avonniouth on April 17, averaged lO'.ls. for butter, and 635.' for cheese. The butter cargo was only 71) liiixc-:, and- the cheese amounted to 6553 crates. The largest batter shipments sent to London were by the Kuahine, which arrived in London oh December 28, 55,810 boxes; Arawa, January -11, 61,011 boxes; Eiuipctm, .January 27. 61,922 boxes; Tainni, February (i, 30,732'b0.ve5; Kotorua, February. 22, 57,700 boxes; and lonic, Jlarcli I*2, 51,137 boxes. The biggest checso shipment was that of the Turakina, which arrived in London oil March 25 with 22,1(6 crates. The Ruahine, which arrived on' December 23, landed 14,022 crates; the Al'awa, January 11; 17.953 crates; and tho Tainni, February 6, 14,313 crates. The table which shows the total exports of butter as 339,111cwt., and of eheeM as 422,143cwt., also gives the quantities sent from the principal dairy produco ports.
