SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Cold and showery weather has prevailed, with hail mid sleet in the south, and emow on higher levels. Southerly winds strong to gale have prevailed, with a rising barometer everywhere. Present indications ore for southerly winds strong to gale, and squally at times.
