The Town Hall was densely packed, and in spit© of tho fact that all seats had been booked days ago, hundreds of persons fruitlessly sought admission. Tho rendering of Handel's "Messiah by over two hundred picked voices, accompanied by tho grand organ, was a revelation, and the vast audience was thrilled and enthusiastic.
