It is, however, understood that these negotiations have taken definite shape. The arrangement, which lias for some uumentioned reason been arrived at iu camera, is that the next English team to Australia is (during the coming summer) to visit New Zealand in the interval between the third and fourth test matches, and play four matches here, and possibly a test match. What arrangements have been entered into by other associations have not yet bsen mentioned, but it is understood that the Wellington Association have agreed to guarantee -£250, which sum, however, may lie slightly reduced if a test match is played. All arrangements are, of course, subject to the team coming to Australia, regarding which there seems to be at present some little uncertainty at Home.
